Nick Kamen - US
Following on from 'Tell Me', Kamen's second album 'Us', was released the following month in June. Produced by Patrick Leonard, the album credits Madonna as a backing vocalist on the song ‘Tell Me’ which was released from this album.
Unfortunately, despite the Madonna connection, the lead single, the aforementioned 'Tell Me' failed to make an impression following which the album also made no impression on the UK buying public as it failed to chart. While Nick Kamen would continue to enjoy commercial success in Europe (see 'I Promised Myself' in 1990), this would be his last album released in the UK.
