Barcelona Gold - compilation
During the same month that the official soundtrack to 'A League Of Their Own' was released - without the official theme song by Madonna - another compilation was also released, namely ‘Barcelona Gold’, that did. It was a rather bizarre situation to see the official music from ‘League’ appear not on the official soundtrack but instead on a compilation inspired by the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
The version that appears here is also unique as it is a shorter edit than any of the versions on Madonna's commercial singles.
