A League Of Their Own - Soundtrack
The fourth compilation featuring Madonna, released in August, is the soundtrack to the movie ‘A League Of Their Own’, in which Madonna had a supporting role. While she supplied the official song (‘This Used To Be My Playground’) it does not appear on the official soundtrack due to licensing restrictions that prohibited Madonna material from being mixed or compiled with other singers on albums.
The album is only included in this section because the inlay information features two photos of Madonna from the movie. Also to note, only the cassette is of UK origin, with the CD being manufactured in Austria for UK distribution. It was not issued on vinyl.
