32 Ones on One - Radio 1 25th Birthday 1967-1992
The third compilation, released in July, was ’32 Ones on One’ issued to celebrate Radio 1’s 25th Birthday.
Supposedly a selection of the best songs of the past 25 years, the choices were rather arbitrary - ‘I Love You Love Me Love’ by Gary Glitter was not exactly a national favourite even before the unpleasant revelations.
The Madonna track chosen was ‘True Blue’ - a track Madonna herself had rejected for her own greatest hits compilation!
